The mulcher works stem by stem, saves what you flagged, and leaves the ground covered in mulch — walk it with us before we load up.
Good to know: mulching handles brush and trees up to roughly 8–10 inches; bigger timber, stumps below grade, and material you want hauled off move the job into clearing and excavation territory — which we also do, so nothing gets left half-finished.

Straight answers
What does forestry mulching cost?
It depends on how thick the growth is, the terrain, and access — a briar-choked half acre and a half acre of scattered sweetgum are very different days. Book online and text photos and acreage, and we’ll give you a real number on the callback, before anything is set in stone.
How big a tree can the mulcher take?
Brush and trees up to roughly 8–10 inches in diameter are mulcher work. Bigger than that, or if you need stumps out below grade, it becomes clearing and excavation — we do that too, with our own dozer and excavator, so the job doesn’t stall between contractors.
What’s left when you’re done?
A layer of mulch over the ground where the brush stood. It walks and mows fine once it settles, holds the soil against washing, and breaks down into the dirt over a season or two. If you want bare, graded earth instead — say, for a pad — tell us; that’s a clearing job.
Can you keep certain trees?
Yes. Flag or paint what stays and the mulcher works around it. Keeping mature oaks and pines while cleaning out the understory is the most common job we do on hunting land.
